FAQs

Is the house suitable for children?

Children are warmly welcomed to the Lodge, but we advise that this is a working farm, and therefore parents should keep a strict eye on those old enough to go exploring! Children’s food can be provided with advance notice - please contact the office with your requirements (see menus below).

LL does not provide cots or high chairs, though there is sufficient space in the bedrooms for a travel cot, and there is the possibility to put up one camp bed in Room 10, which has twin beds, as an additional child’s bed space.

Can we self-cater?

LL does not offer self-catering rental.

Can we have a choice of menu?

All menus and wine choices for each party are arranged with the host in advance and LL does not offer a restaurant-style choice of menu on the night. Please remember to let us know of any special dietary requirements for you or your guests.

I am arriving late - can I order a snack on arrival?

Due to menus being planned in advance the kitchen is unable to produce menus for drop-in guests, but we do our best to make provision for light snacks such as sandwiches, and are very happy to prepare or keep back food for late arrivals.

Can we bring our own wine?

LL is fully licensed and offers a well-stocked bar and extensive wine list. Should you wish to bring your own wine/champagne a corkage fee is charged at £20/70cl bottle.
